Some late model Suburban-based Cadillac beast in front of me the other night. So much LED brake lights that I had to put my sunglasses on. Totally ridiculous. I estimate about 8.5 feet of brake light tail LEDs on the back. Somebody please kill it.

I despise LED brake lights. The are way too bright and make it much harder to visually sort the driving environment. Damn things should be illegal.

I think a full ban may be a bit strong, but some kind of min/max on nits might not be a bad start. The specimen above was too much for my taste/comfort.

I agree. I have no truck with LEDs, per se. But the brightness of them is a problem, especially on SUVs that present entire banks of LEDs like that Caddy. It's ridiculous.
